Iran and Tanzania Revive Economic Ties After 16 Years of Hiatus

After a 16-year hiatus, Iran and Tanzania have successfully revived their economic relations. At the recently held fifth joint economic summit, 12 cooperation documents were signed between the two countries. These agreements reflect the strong determination of both sides to expand bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, veterinary medicine, and trade.

Gholamreza Nouri Qezaljeh, Minister of Agricultural Jihad of Iran, expressed his satisfaction with the revival of the Joint Economic Commission and emphasized the importance of fostering economic relations between Iran and Tanzania. He also highlighted the vast potential for cooperation in agriculture and animal husbandry, expressing hope for the expansion of these collaborations in the future.
